We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. This position will be the main therapist at a great location in Shady Side. TONS of opportunities for growth, additional commission, and collaborations with other local wellness businesses.

Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, etc to meet individual client needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health concerns and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, gather feedback, and ensure comfort throughout each session.
- Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant medical information using appropriate medical terminology.
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend follow-up treatments or lifestyle adjustments as needed.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient service by creating a welcoming atmosphere that fosters trust and relaxation.
- Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education requirements such as CPR certification to enhance your skills and ensure compliance with licensing standards.
Experience
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification.
- Proven experience in massage therapy with a strong background in deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage.
- Knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client needs and tailor treatments accordingly.
- Experience working in sports or clinical settings is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients about their health concerns and treatment options.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to pain management and patient assessment is preferred.
- Prior experience with customer service in a healthcare or wellness environment that emphasizes patient satisfaction and safety.
Pay: From $75.00 per hour
