We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team! In this role, you will be the face of our shop—guiding customers through our chocolate selections, preparing custom gift boxes, maintaining a beautiful store presentation, and sharing your passion for high-quality confections.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage every customer with a friendly, positive attitude.
- Educate shoppers on our chocolate varieties, flavors, ingredients, and seasonal offerings.
- Package treats, assemble custom gift boxes, and wrap products with care and attention to detail.
- Process sales transactions accurately using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Maintain clean, attractive, and fully stocked displays and retail counter space.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and handling protocols strictly.
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred (passion for chocolate is a must!).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a welcoming personality.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to [e.g., 25 lbs].
- Flexibility to work weekend shifts, evenings, and peak holiday periods (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Winter Holidays).
