Part-Time Keyholder
Location: Ballard, WA
Schedule: Part-Time, 18-24hr week, weekends required
Reports to: Store Manager

Job Summary:
We’re looking for a reliable and responsible Part-Time Key Holder to support the daily operations of our retail store; this role is ideal for someone with retail experience who enjoys creating a welcoming customer experience and is comfortable opening and closing the store independently. You’ll also help assign breaks and delegate daily tasks when the Store Manager is not present.
Key Responsibilities:
- Open and close the retail store as scheduled.
- Maintain store security and ensure proper procedures are followed during opening and closing.
- Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge to all visitors.
- Assign breaks and lunches to team members in compliance with labor guidelines.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the retail space and stockroom.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Store Manager.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Comfortable working independently and making decisions in the absence of a manager.
- Positive attitude and energy.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Familiarity with Shopify and basic POS systems is a plus.
- Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Regularly lift and move items weighing 15–40 lbs.
- Perform repetitive tasks with care and consistency.
Working Conditions:
- Highly fragrant due to product ingredients.
- Temperature fluctuations in a retail environment.
- Friendly dogs may be present in the retail store.
