This team works behind the scenes to prepare ingredients, cook menu items to standard, maintain a clean and safe kitchen, and support smooth restaurant operations. Line Cook
- Execute dishes according to recipes, portion standards, and plating guidelines
- Manage ticket flow and prioritize cooking during peak hours
- Operate grills, fryers, ovens, and other kitchen equipment safely
Prep Cook
- Prepare ingredients (chopping, slicing, portioning, marinating, etc.) according to prep lists
- Assist with basic cooking tasks as needed
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages
Dishwasher
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of dish area, floors, and trash stations
- Organize clean dishes and return them to proper locations
Expo / Food Runner
- Coordinate communication between kitchen and front-of-house
- Ensure plates are correctly prepared, garnished, and plated before leaving the kitchen
- Organize and prioritize tickets to maintain smooth service flow
- Run food to tables quickly and accurately
- Communicate special requests, allergies, or modifications clearly
Butcher
- Break down whole animals or large cuts into usable portions
