Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Estimator / Project Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the estimation process for diverse construction projects while managing project execution from inception to completion. Duties
- Prepare detailed construction estimates using industry-standard software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam, ensuring accuracy in cost analysis and pricing strategies.
- Develop comprehensive project budgets by analyzing plans, specifications, and site conditions while considering labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs.
- Lead negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing that align with project goals.
- Manage all aspects of construction estimating including quantity take-offs, bid preparation, and risk assessment to maximize profitability.
- Oversee construction site activities to ensure adherence to project schedules, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with project teams to develop realistic timelines, monitor progress, control costs, and implement effective change management strategies.
- Review contracts thoroughly to ensure compliance with scope of work, legal requirements, and budget constraints; manage contract modifications as needed.
- Utilize Bluebeam for digital plan reviews and documentation management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain clear communication channels among stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve issues promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction estimating combined with strong project management capabilities within the construction industry.
- Hands-on construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with field operations, safety standards, and site logistics.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software such as HeavyBid or equivalent tools; experience with Bluebeam is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Solid understanding of construction contracts, cost control measures, pricing strategies, and project management principles.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Pay: $90,687.45 - $150,128.97 per year
