Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service while performing various technical tasks related to equipment maintenance and repair. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of basic electrical and plumbing, and the ability to drive routes efficiently. This position requires organizational skills to ensure that all service requests are handled promptly and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical support for equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Drive designated routes to service customers, ensuring timely arrival and completion of tasks.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding service options, pricing, and upselling opportunities.
- Maintain organized records of service calls, inventory, and customer interactions.
- Assist in heavy lifting of equipment or materials as required during service operations.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients professionally.
- Ability to drive commercial vehicles safely and efficiently; valid driver's license and background check required.
- Familiarity with route driving principles for effective time management.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Ability to lift and/or move 30lbs
- basic plumbing and electrical knowledge (water valves, pipes, motors, etc).
- Maintain professional image of the Company at all times.
