Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a leading grain processing and commodities operation, is seeking a Grain Grader / Logistics Support Associate to join their team! This position plays a critical role in ensuring grain quality standards are met while supporting daily logistics and operational activities in a fast-paced environment.
- Test and grade incoming grain to ensure compliance with company quality standards.
- Operate truck scales and accurately enter scale-room data into the computer system.
- Record commodity activities in logbooks and complete required daily reports.
- Communicate effectively with Commodity Handlers and Operations personnel regarding grain receiving issues.
- Conduct routine facility inspection rounds and document visual damage or mechanical concerns.
- Assist with unloading grain and loading/unloading trucks to support timely deliveries.
- Follow all company safety policies and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Complete tasks assigned by the Lead Grader, Logistics Supervisor, and Shift Leaders.
- Participate in Shift Team activities, including best practice implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Attend and complete all required job-related training programs.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and reporting.
- Ability to work in an industrial environment and perform physical job duties as needed.
- Previous grain handling, agricultural, logistics, warehouse, or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
