Are you looking for a stable retail role with great perks? We are seeking a friendly, reliable Meat Counter Sales Clerk to join our team.
Please note: This is a front-of-house, customer service position. Professional butchering experience is NOT required. We provide full, paid on-the-job training!
What You Will Do (Responsibilities):
- Serve Customers: Greet guests, take orders, and provide excellent service at the counter.
- Package Products: Accurately weigh, wrap, and price meats for customers.
- Maintain Displays: Keep the service counter stocked, check expiration dates, and rotate products for freshness.
- Keep it Clean: Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe work environment.
- Teamwork: Assist with basic back-of-house prep and other tasks assigned by managers.
What We Look For (Requirements):
- Comfortable handling raw meat products.
- Willingness to learn safe, basic knife handling for portioning (we will train you!).
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and work in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and a desire to help customers.
