Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using commercial cleaning equipment and techniques such as buffing and floor care.
- Conduct janitorial duties with attention to detail, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and maintained to high standards.
- Carry out custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and restocking supplies to keep facilities organized and hygienic.
- Maintain facilities by performing light maintenance tasks like repairing fixtures or reporting larger issues to appropriate teams.
- Utilize industrial cleaning tools and methods for deep cleaning projects or specialized floor care needs.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all custodial activities, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Document completed tasks, report any maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly, and assist with facility inspections as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning.
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and commercial cleaning products.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs and troubleshooting.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and safety standards.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks for extended periods. Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
