Purpose:
The Concetti Bagging Coordinator operates the Concetti bagging machine by overseeing the packaging of products from the beginning of the line until the side print is applied.
Accountabilities:

Work with department team to assure the production plan, schedule, and activities are coordinated to meet company requirements

Balance quality, productivity, and safety to achieve results in all areas

Work to continuously improve in all areas

Safely operate a forklift as well as pass a certification test for its operation

Work as a team member to meet departmental key performance indicators

Observe equipment and panel indicators to ensure effective and efficient operation from the bag feed to the side print, including cleaning the side and back print every morning

Perform necessary changeovers as scheduled

Starts machine, observes operation, and adjusts machine to ensure uniform printing, folding, gluing, or sealing into finished bags
-
Routinely evaluates check-weigher during each packing run

Monitor the online camera to ensure it is taking a picture for each and every bag

Ensure all packages are free of stains and dust, closed neatly and tightly, and have an accurate attached label with an accurate date code

Submit supply chain logs for safety, mechanical, or production issues

Assist in facility maintenance and upkeep

Assist in checklist updates as required

Follow and perform daily checklists and inspections

Working cohesively with End of Line Operator

Maintain a clean and orderly work area by keeping tools and equipment in proper places and all materials off the floor of the area

Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-
At least 2 years in the manufacturing of premixes in an industrial/manufacturing environment
-
Willing and able to work off hours, overtime, weekends, and holidays, as needed
-
Willing and able to wear the necessary Personal Protection equipment (PPE) (i.e. hard hats, safety glasses, face shield, chemical suit, respirator, ear plugs, hearing protection, steel-toe boots or safety shoes and other PPE required by specific jobs)

Ability to pass a written and driving exam to prove capability of safely operating a forklift

Physically able to lift and move 50lb. on a regular reoccurring basis

Experience managing projects

Experience using Microsoft Office programs such as Word (to write business correspondence), Excel (for use of spreadsheets, reporting, simple formulas) and Outlook (for internal and external correspondence)

High school diploma or GED
