Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and motivated Logistics Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with various warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, organizing, and shipping products. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in receiving and unloading shipments of goods. Inspect products for damage or discrepancies, and report any issues to the Logistics Team Lead
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently. Ensure that products are packaged correctly and labeled for shipping.
- Print MO’s, sort MO’s, and pick uniform items to be scanned using software into the custom room.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including the creation of shipping labels and coordinating with carriers for pickup and delivery.
- Organize products on shelves or in bins in accordance with established procedures.
- Adhere to safety procedures and standards to ensure a safe working environment. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks to move products when necessary.
- Work closely with other warehouse staff and departments to meet operational goals. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Perform regular checks to ensure that all products meet quality standards before shipment.
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demands while minimizing excess stock.
- Willingness to work multiple jobs depending on what the logistics team leader’s needs.
- Willingness to operate a forklift.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to [specify weight, e.g., 50 lbs.]) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with warehouse management software or willingness to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Forklift certification or the ability to obtain one is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull heavy objects as needed.
- Work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures (depending on the facility).
