Position Summary
Alpine Slicing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our second shift maintenance team. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for supervising maintenance employees while actively performing equipment repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. The Maintenance Supervisor works closely with Operations, Quality, Warehouse, and Sanitation teams to maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and ensure a safe, efficient, and food-safe manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
· Lead and supervise second shift maintenance operations while working alongside the maintenance team.
· Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, electrical systems, HVAC, refrigeration, pneumatic, hydraulic, and facility equipment.
· Plan, assign, and monitor preventive maintenance activities to reduce equipment downtime.
· Coach, train, and develop Maintenance Technicians while promoting accountability and teamwork.
· Coordinate maintenance priorities with Production and communicate equipment issues to the Maintenance Manager.
· Ensure compliance with company safety policies, GMPs, HACCP requirements, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and food safety standards.
· Coordinate repairs performed by outside contractors and vendors.
· Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and equipment documentation.
· Assist with continuous improvement projects focused on equipment reliability, efficiency, and plant performance.
What You'll Bring
· Minimum five (5) years of industrial maintenance experience required.
· Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
· Experience in food manufacturing or food processing is strongly preferred.
· Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC, and refrigeration troubleshooting skills.
· Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) preferred.
· Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals.
· Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Experience developing, coaching, and supporting maintenance employees.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance software.
· Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work throughout the production facility.
· Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
· Ability to work in manufacturing, warehouse, and refrigerated environments.
· Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Schedule
Second Shift
Monday – Friday
3:00 PM – 1:00 AM
Occasional Saturdays and after-hours support as business needs require.
Full-Time Position
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
