As a legal administrative assistant, you will be responsible for greeting clients, answering all phone calls, and sorting mail. This position is responsible for setting a professional tone and a welcoming feeling for our office.
The primary job duties for legal administrative assistant are:
· Answer all incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate party
· Take accurate messages
· Greet Clients and visitors
· Schedule appointments
· Sort mail and receive packages
· Provide office support to firm
· Light data entry
· Keep entrance area of the law firm neat and appealing at all times
· Running errands for the law firm
· Be responsible for undertaking the opening and closing of the law firm
Requirements
· Excellent phone etiquette
· Excellent customer service attitude
· Proven work experience as a legal administrative assistant, customer service or similar role
· Experience with Microsoft office
· Experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines, copier, printer)
· Professional attitude and appearance
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to be proactive when issues arise
· Excellent organizational skills
· Multitasking and time management skills
· Ability to prioritize tasks
· Ability to express yourself concisely, clearly, orally and in writing
· Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
· Must be punctual and have excellent attendance
· Must have reliable transportation
· Must have a valid driver’s license
· High school degree or equivalent, college degree preferred
Office hours Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
