Pay Rate and Benefits will be discussed during interview process and will be based off experience.
Job Summary:
--Plans & implements the daily curriculum for children in the classroom.
--Responsible for the safety of all children in a group of 3 – 4 year olds
--Plan and implements activities that promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of all children
--Communicates directly with parents regarding their child’s accomplishments, academic progress and daily activities
--Maintain classroom records, cleanliness, and orderliness to align with state regulations and standards
--Demonstrates skill and knowledge in early childhood curriculum and implementation
--Actively engaged with the children at all times while serving as a role model through appearance and actions
--Provides a loving and nurturing environment for all children
--Develops opportunities to positively impact children’s self-esteem
--Maintain an environment (both indoors and outdoors) that is safe, clean, and inviting
--Follows the centers policies and procedures
--Maintains confidentiality and follows the center’s social media policy
--Works cooperatively with coworkers, director, and assistant director
--Knowledge of the growth process of preschoolers ages 3-5 years
--Ability to accept feedback and execute program professionally
Qualifications & Job Requirements:
--Applicant must be at least 18 years of age or older to meet the state licensing age requirement
--CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain is required
--CDA and/or an Associates in Early Childhood Education is required
--1+ years of experience working in Preschool/Pre – K setting
--Excellent organizational skills
--Ability to work on their feet for long periods of time
--Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs. numerous times a day
--Must be able to bend, stoop, & run
