Mental Health Counselor (AMFT, ACSW, APCC) - Project Connect
Exodus Recovery, Inc. (Exodus) is looking to hire one full-time Forensic Mental Health Clinician (AMFT, ACSW, APCC) to provide individual and group counseling, comprehensive mental health assessment and treatment, forensic advocacy, mental health symptom management, skills and community support and implementation of criminal justice and containment plans for adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities who are involved with the criminal justice system, or at risk of becoming involved in the justice system – in our Project Connect program located in San Diego, CA.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Registered with the BBS as an AMFT, ACSW, APCC, or with the Board of Psychology as a Psychologist, Registered Psychologist, Psychological Assistant or Psychological Intern.
- Two (2) years of clinical experience in the mental health field and/ or experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
- Strong knowledge of assessment and crisis intervention skills. Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively, and show mature judgment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Additional pay if candidate is fluent in Spanish (spoken and written)
EDUCATION:
- Master’s degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience which qualifies applicant to work as an AMFT, ACSW, or APCC.
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
- If CA licensed, current Continuing Education for maintenance of license as applicable.
COMPENSATION:
Pay: $32-$34/hr. (Commensurate with experience)
Additional pay offered for licensed clinicians.
