Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of vehicles including commercial trucks and automobiles to deliver goods across designated routes.
- Follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safe lifting practices during loading, unloading, and delivery processes.
- Manage delivery schedules efficiently while maintaining accurate documentation of deliveries and pickups.
- Communicate clearly with clients to confirm delivery times, address any concerns, and build lasting relationships.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Assist with merchandising and product placement at retail stores when required.
- Upsell additional products or services where appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving or automobile transportation preferred; retail store experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of route driving, pricing strategies, and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
- Demonstrated ability to build positive customer relationships through excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations, heavy lifting techniques, and safe lifting practices essential for safety compliance.
- Previous experience in sales or upselling is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently while adhering to schedules.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving or DOT-certified truck operation highly desirable.

Pay: $24.94 - $30.04 per hour
