Construction Laborer – Immediate Hire
Building Energy is seeking a motivated Construction Laborer to join our team immediately. We specialize in energy-efficiency improvements and weatherization projects that help homeowners and businesses reduce energy costs and improve comfort.
Position Overview
The Construction Laborer will assist in the building, renovation, and maintenance of structures, ensuring safety and quality at every step. This position offers hands-on experience in the construction industry, providing opportunities to develop your skills, learn from our experienced lead carpenters, while contributing to exciting projects. We offer full-time year-round work with an opportunity for growth. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys physical work, learning new skills, and being part of a team that makes a positive impact.
Responsibilities
- Assist with building, renovation, and remodeling of commercial and residential structures
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment
- Prepare and clean job sites
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Follow safety procedures and company policies
- Work effectively with crew members and supervisors
- Perform general labor tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Construction experience preferred
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Valid driver's license
