Job Description: Lead Teacher
Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
-To create developmentally appropriate lesson plans. A copy of this must be submitted to the director every Monday, as well as posted in the classroom.
-To develop a monthly calendar. A copy of this is to be submitted to the director on the 1stday of each month, as well as posted in classroom.
-To maintain daily attendance records which are to be placed on Asst. Directors desk at the end of each week. This also includes sign in and out sheets. (filled out correctly)
-To be sure that at all times the classroom is in order and kept clean.
-To work as a team player with others in ways which enhance the learning experience for the children, and promotes a positive environment for all.
-To maintain a clean, safe and healthy environment in the classroom.
- To maintain a professional and cordial relationship with the parents of the children enrolled in the program.
-To provide appropriate discipline as outlined in the employee handbook.
-To function in accordance with State Licensing Laws.
-To be aware of, and implement if necessary, the centers Emergency Response Plan.
-To, at all times, function within the guidelines set forth in the center’s Employee Handbook.
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: From $15.50 per hour
