Job Description
The Project Coordinator supports project teams by organizing documentation, managing project setup activities, and ensuring accurate and timely flow of information throughout the project lifecycle. This role assists with estimating and project startup tasks, maintains logs and document control systems, and prepares essential materials such as RFIs, submittals, change orders, and close-out packages. The Project Coordinator also proved technical support for platforms like Bluebeam, Cosential, and PlanGrid, helping teams stay aligned and informed.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Training:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Associate’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in project coordination, construction administration, or related support roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and basic computer skills.
- Bluebeam experience preferred.
- Detailed-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Foundational computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and the Internet. Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.
Essential Job Functions:
- Set up new projects by downloading drawings, creating Bluebeam Studio projects, and managing user access and document updates.
- Create and maintain RFI logs, submittal logs, templates, hyperlinks, and addenda uploads.
- Enter and track project information in Cosential and distribute updated documents to project teams.
- Organize and maintain project folders, drawings, and all document issuances (ASI, IFC, Bulletins).
- Create, submit, track, and maintain RFIs, submittals, change orders, T&M tickets, and related logs.
- Prepare submittal field binders and manage close-out documentation including warranties, as-builts, and O&M manuals.
- Serve as PlanGrid Champion and provide document support to Division Managers and field personnel.
- Serve as Cosential and Bluebeam Champion, providing training, troubleshooting, and technical support.
- Assist with field onboarding and maintain effective communication with project teams.
- Work flexible hours as needed to support project demands.
- Attend staff, departmental, and other required meetings and training.
- Other duties as assigned.
