Event Staff Job Opportunity Overview

Event Staff Associates play a critical role in delivering high-quality service to clients and guests by assisting with setup, guest interaction, and breakdown of events.
Key Responsibilities
Event Setup & Breakdown
- Assist with loading/unloading equipment and supplies
- Set up tables, chairs, linens, décor, and signage according to event plans
- Break down and pack materials efficiently at the end of events
Guest Experience & Service
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide directions, answer questions, and support guest needs
- Maintain a positive, helpful presence throughout the event
Food & Beverage Support
- Assist with food service, buffet setup, or passed hors d’oeuvres
- Monitor cleanliness and restock service areas
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Event Operations
- Follow instructions from event captains or supervisors
- Adapt quickly to changing needs or timelines
- Support overall flow and logistics of the event
Qualifications
- Prior experience in events, hospitality, catering, or customer service preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and take direction
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30–50 lbs
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various conditions
Schedule & Availability
- Flexible schedule required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to commit to scheduled shifts and arrive on time
Compensation
- Hourly rate: $25-30 per hour plus tips
