RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain accurate documentation of clients’ day-to-day activities, making note of any incident that interrupts those activities.
- Maintain effective communication with other Direct Care Coaches as well as the administrative team routinely via email.
- Direct Care Coaches are responsible for face-to-face change-of-shift routine to share progress notes for each client for each shift.
- Engage in therapeutic recreation activities as well as other required routine activities that include education, hygiene, nutrition, and healthy social skills development.
- Adheres to daily schedule created by the Program Director; assist in the planning of those activities.
- Oversee menu for the day and plan accordingly for any adjustments or substitution that may need to be made.
- Ensure client supervision at all times and encourage regular participation.
- Maintain work environments free of hazards and report issues as soon as possible in writing to the required parties.
- Provide transportation to the clients for appointments off campus as needed.
- Report to the Program Director
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 21 years old with a college degree or pursuing a degree in human service, social service, victims’ studies, or similar education.
- Must have a valid Texas Driver's license.
- Must be willing to undergo an initial background check, initial drug screening as well as random screenings.
Job Types: Part-time, PRN
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
