Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher/Busser to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience. This position requires a commitment to cleanliness, teamwork, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sweeping and mopping floors.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring all items are ready for service.
- Bus tables promptly after guests leave to ensure a clean dining environment for incoming patrons.
- Support servers by refilling drinks and delivering food items to tables when necessary.
- Dispose of waste properly and maintain recycling practices in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines while performing duties.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cleaning supplies is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience in bussing or banquet settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
