Job Summary
We are seeking a warm, energetic, and experienced Nanny/Babysitter to provide loving and attentive care for our two young children (ages 1 and 2). This role requires someone who truly enjoys the active toddler stage and can support their rapid growth and daily routines. The ideal candidate is proactive, patient, safety-conscious, and enthusiastic about guiding toddler exploration through play, structured routines, and creative activities.
Responsibilities
- Attentive Care & Supervision: Maintain constant supervision to ensure safety as both children explore their surroundings.
- Daily Routines: Manage toddler schedules, including structured nap times, diaper changes, potty training support, and bedtime/quiet time routines.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare healthy, age-appropriate meals and snacks tailored to toddler nutritional needs and safe feeding practices.
- Developmental Play: Engage both children in fun, age-appropriate activities that promote fine/gross motor skills, language acquisition, sensory development, and social interaction (e.g., reading books, sensory bins, outdoor play, music, and simple crafts).
- Light Child-Related Chores: Keep play areas clean and organized, wash/sanitize toddler dishes, and maintain tidiness after activities.
- Parent Communication: Provide daily updates on meals, naps, moods, and developmental milestones.
Qualifications & Experience
- Toddler Care Experience: Proven experience caring for toddlers (specifically 1- to 2-year-olds), ideally handling two young children simultaneously.
- Developmental Knowledge: Solid understanding of toddler behavior, developmental milestones, safe food handling for young ages, and positive toddler engagement strategies.
- Certifications: First Aid and CPR certifications (Required).
- Key Traits: High energy, patience, reliability, and a genuine passion for early childhood care.
Pay: $10.00 - $16.00 per hour
