We have an immediate full time opening in our Digital Division for an experienced 2nd Shift Press Operator I (HP Indigo 100k series)
*Minimum one-year hands-on experience on Indigo 100k or 120k or newer machine series is required.
*Monday through Friday: 2:00PM to 10:30PM with opportunities for overtime.
Job description Includes but is not limited to:
- Set up, operate, and adjust the equipment, and in addition, diagnose, solve, and correct operating problems affecting the quality and timeliness of the service or product or function.
- Follow schedule to determine next job ticket from online job schedule.
- Track all work activity in job data collection tablet.
- Obtain tools and materials needed for the job ticket.
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment and work area.
- Consistently follow safety protocol and guidelines in performing assigned tasks.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Skill and Experience:
To be successful in this role, candidate must have the following:
- Good math skills, time management, strong work ethic.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. (General Educational Development)
- Minimum 2-years current hands-on experience on HP Indigo 7k and 100k or newer machine series is required.
- Must be HP Certified for 7k and 100k.
- Experience with other Digital Printing/Press equipment operation (Mechanically inclined) is highly preferred.
- Willingness to learn, grow, and adapt to new machines and unique tasks.
- Must have computer skills and ability to perform mathematical calculations correctly.
- Must have excellent time management, able to organize/prioritize tasks and problem solve to deliver expected results timely.
- Ability to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions/specifications. Bilingual is fine.
- Must communicate effectively and work well with diverse management and other team members.
- Ability to commit and work full-time hours from Monday to Friday with occasional overtime (early morning, evenings & or weekends) to complete jobs is required.
- Regularly lift up to 15 lbs. and periodically be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, squat, walk, and stand for long periods of time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
