Job Overview
Oxytech Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Territory Sales Representative to develop and grow business throughout the Western United States.
The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop long-term relationships with customers. Experience in the printing, converting, packaging, or industrial equipment industries is highly preferred.
This position will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, conducting customer visits and product presentations, and identifying applications where Oxytech Systems' products can improve production efficiency and performance.
The successful candidate must be a self-starter who can work independently, effectively manage a sales territory, and travel extensively to meet with customers and prospects.
Key Responsibilities Client Interaction & Relationship Management
- Schedule and conduct appointments with existing and prospective customers to understand their equipment, production, and process requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Conduct professional product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions at customer facilities.
- Identify customer applications where Oxytech Systems' products can improve production, drying, curing, or overall process efficiency.
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers and Oxytech Systems.
- Keep customers informed about pricing, new products, system upgrades, technical developments, and product enhancements.
- Maintain accurate customer records, including company information, contacts, phone numbers, email addresses, equipment information, and sales opportunities.
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities throughout the assigned territory.
- Generate leads through cold calling, prospecting, networking, referrals, industry research, and trade shows.
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers, including owners, plant managers, operations managers, engineering managers, maintenance managers, and purchasing personnel.
- Qualify sales opportunities and determine customer requirements.
- Prepare and present product information and quotations to prospective customers.
- Follow up consistently on quotations, proposals, leads, and customer inquiries.
- Work closely with company management and engineering personnel to develop solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Develop strategies to increase sales and expand Oxytech Systems' presence within the territory.
Territory Planning & Sales Reporting
- Develop and maintain an organized territory sales plan.
- Schedule customer visits efficiently to maximize sales opportunities and travel time.
- Utilize CRM and other sales management tools to track prospects, opportunities, customer contacts, and follow-up activities.
- Maintain accurate and current sales records.
- Prepare regular reports regarding sales activities, customer visits, opportunities, quotations, and projected business.
- Maintain and submit accurate travel and expense reports.
- Monitor market and industry developments to identify new sales opportunities.
Trade Shows & Industry Events
- Attend and actively participate in industry trade shows, conferences, customer events, and networking opportunities.
- Represent Oxytech Systems professionally at industry events.
- Develop new customer relationships and follow up on qualified leads generated through trade shows and other marketing activities.
Professionalism
- Represent Oxytech Systems with professionalism, integrity, diplomacy, and tact.
- Maintain a positive image of the company in all interactions with customers, prospects, vendors, and industry contacts.
- Protect confidential company and customer information.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a sales or business development role.
- Printing, converting, packaging, or industrial equipment sales experience strongly preferred.
- Experience selling technical products or capital equipment is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the sales process, including prospecting, qualifying, presenting, quoting, negotiating, and closing.
- Demonstrated ability to develop new accounts through cold calling and lead generation.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented.

- Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.
- Ability to attend customer meetings, conferences, and trade shows as required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven, technically minded sales professional who enjoys finding new business opportunities and developing long-term customer relationships.
Experience selling to printing companies, converters, packaging manufacturers, press manufacturers, or other industrial manufacturers is highly desirable. Candidates should be comfortable discussing technical applications with plant managers, engineers, operations personnel, maintenance teams, and company ownership.
The successful candidate will have the ability to identify customer needs, communicate the value of Oxytech Systems' solutions, and work with the company's engineering and management teams to develop the right solution for each application.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
