Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold food safety sanitizing procedures
- Assist with basic food prep tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients under supervision
- Support the kitchen team by bussing tables and clearing plates during service hours to ensure a clean dining environment
- Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting of supplies and equipment safely following proper techniques
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas through regular cleaning routines, including floors, counters, and storage spaces
- Follow food safety management protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Assist with catering or banquet setups as needed, ensuring all items are prepared and presented according to standards
Skills
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred; familiarity with food handling and service operations is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and proper dishwashing techniques
