Hand In Hand Early Education Center is seeking caring, dependable, and energetic Full-Time and Part-Time Childcare Assistants to join our growing team! Whether you're beginning a career in early childhood education or looking for a meaningful part-time position, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
- Support Lead Teachers in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
- Assist with daily routines, learning activities, meals, and outdoor play.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Encourage children's growth through play, exploration, and positive interactions.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of every child in your care.
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Loves working with young children.
- Is reliable, positive, and a team player.
- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can provide a safe, caring, and supportive environment.
- Is willing to complete required Iowa childcare training and background checks.
- Previous childcare experience is helpful but not required—we're happy to train the right person!
