Job Summary:
Coordinates naloxone and harm‑reduction resource distribution, manages opioid settlement fund reporting, and provides substance use and problem gambling prevention services across Cumberland and Perry Counties. Supports planning, implementation, and evaluation of opioid‑use disorder abatement strategies.
Essential Job Functions:
Opioid Settlement Fund Coordination
Harm Reduction & Overdose Prevention

Serve as primary contact for naloxone and other harm‑reduction supply distribution.

Maintain inventory databases and submit required state/federal reports.

Develop outreach strategies for communicable Disease education & prevention.
Community Partnerships & Prevention
Data, Evaluation & Reporting
Public Representation & Administrative Responsibilities

Represent county opioid mitigation efforts and ensure confidentiality compliance.

Complete required professional trainings, perform additional duties as assigned, and travel within Cumberland and Perry Counties, including occasional evening and weekend work.

Minimum Requirements to Perform the Work:
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in health education, Education, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, Social Work, Behavioral Services or related field.

Master’s degree Preferred
- Certified Prevention Specialist or Certified Recovery Specialist or other certification through PA Certification Board preferred.
Work Experience:
-
At least three years of experience in substance use disorder services. prevention, early intervention, or case management

Community coordination experience preferred
- An equivalent combination of training and experience may be accepted. Related education may be substituted for the required experience, and appropriate experience may be substituted for the required education.
Clearances:
-
Prior to employment candidate must receive clearances from: PA State Police, FBI, PA Child Abuse Registry, and Office of the Inspector General. These clearances must be maintained throughout employment. A TB test to be conducted prior to delivering programming in the school setting.
