Property management company has an immediate opening for a dedicated full-time Apartment Maintenance Technician in Pulaski. We are looking for a professional who can take initiative and help anticipate problems before they occur. May require an occasional weekend or evening for emergencies.
The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively with tenants, visitors, Manager, other staff, and anyone else he or she encounters on the job. The successful candidate will be motivated and self-driven but also be able to work effectively with other team members. Must have valid driver’s license and insured vehicle. Requires at least 2 years of maintenance experience, and working knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, appliance, & electrical repairs. Computer knowledge/experience is needed. Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently. HVAC Certification and indoor pool management knowledge is a plus. Salary is negotiable.
Position will include: (but not limited to)
Work with tools and supplies necessary to complete projects
High level of organization and attention to detail
Maintain strong resident relations and provide excellent customer service
Troubleshooting maintenance issues
Communicate with management about any work that requires outside expert assistance
Strong time management skills
Ensure all vacant apartments are prepared in a timely fashion
Minor plumbing and electrical repairs
Locks & doors
Furnace & boiler repair knowledge a plus
Carpentry skills
Exterior Building repairs
Preparing vacant units for new Move-ins
Carpet and vinyl tear out
Painting, drywall repair
Changing light fixtures, updating outlets, etc.
MUST be able to pass background check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
