Irish Dance Teacher | Multiple Teaching Opportunities
Have you ever walked away from teaching knowing you changed someone's day, not because of what you taught, but because of how you made them feel?
If that feeling is what keeps bringing you back... Keep reading.
"What particularly touched my heart was the dear little girl who you partnered Gigi with. Livy very gently led Gigi in the way to go. It was so lovely to watch. I really appreciate your sensitivity in finding ways to help support Gigi in her learning. Gigi feels a part of the class and really loves Irish Dance."
— Kathleen S. ( A Crossroads Parent)
Every once in a while, we receive an email that reminds us why we do what we do. They remind us that the greatest impact a teacher makes often has nothing to do with dance.
It wasn't about choreography. It wasn't about perfect timing. It wasn't about winning medals.
It was about a child feeling like she belonged.
Because somewhere along the way, a teacher intentionally created a culture where kindness, encouragement, and inclusion became just as important as great dancing.
If reading that made you smile...you already understand what matters most at Crossroads.
Why We're Hiring
- Our studio is growing. That growth means more children, more families, and more opportunities to make a difference.
- We're looking for teachers who want to help us continue building a studio where every dancer feels challenged, encouraged, and like they truly belong.
Ask us what success looks like...We'll tell you stories before we tell you about trophies. It's measured by moments.
- The moment a shy child walks into class smiling instead of hiding behind a parent.
- The moment a preschooler proudly skips across the floor for the very first time.
- The moment teammates encourage one another without being asked.
- The moment an adult finally decides it's not "too late" to try Irish dance.
- The moment a parent realizes... "My child has found their place." Irish dance is what we teach.
Belonging is what we build.
You Don't Have To Fit One Mold To Belong Here
Maybe you're an experienced Irish dance teacher... …
- who's looking for a studio that values people just as much as performance.
- Where relationships matter.
- Where your ideas are welcomed.
- Where you're part of a team—not competing with one.
Or maybe you've taught preschool or beginning dance... …
- and you light up when helping young children discover movement, confidence, and joy.
- You don't need years of Irish dance teaching experience. We'll teach you our curriculum, support you through training, and help you build the confidence to lead our youngest dancers.
- You simply need a heart for helping children and adults grow.
Or maybe you're a competitive Irish dancer... ..
- who's wondered what it would be like to stand at the front of the room instead of in the line.
- we'll mentor you, support your growth, and help you become the teacher you always wished you had.
Wherever you're starting…
- If you care deeply about people...
- Love learning...
- Believe every child deserves to feel seen...
- And want to be part of something bigger than yourself...
Let's talk.
What You'll Get To Do
This isn't a job where you simply teach classes.
- You'll help children discover confidence.
- You'll celebrate first skips.
- Help little dancers lace their ghillies and tie countless hard shoes.
- High-five preschoolers.
- Calm first-day jitters.
- Cheer louder than anyone when a dancer finally gets the step they've been working on.
- Laugh often.
- Build relationships that last for years.
- And every now and then...You'll witness a moment that reminds you exactly why you became a teacher.
You'll build relationships with families who trust you with one of the most important parts of their child's week. You'll contribute ideas, collaborate with teammates, and help shape the future of a studio that's been serving our community for over 25 years.

A note from our owner, Amy:
“When I opened Crossroads over twenty-five years ago, I wasn't dreaming about building the biggest studio.
I was dreaming about building a place where people felt like they belonged.I've watched shy children become confident leaders.I've watched adults prove to themselves it's never too late to start something new. I've watched teachers become some of the most influential people in a child's life.
That's what still gets me excited to unlock the doors every day. If you're the kind of person who believes teaching is about changing lives just as much as teaching dance...
I'd love to meet you.”
