Responsibilities
- Assist with routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Support electrical equipment repair, including troubleshooting with tools such as ohmmeters and hand tools.
- Perform basic carpentry tasks and maintenance painting to uphold building interior aesthetics.
- Aid in plumbing system maintenance and repair activities to ensure optimal operation of water supply and drainage systems.
- Contribute to facilities equipment maintenance, including HVAC system repair and troubleshooting HVAC issues promptly.
- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed, including schematics, work orders, and inspection logs.
Qualifications
- Basic electrical experience with an understanding of electrical equipment repair and electrical work principles.
- Mechanical knowledge related to facilities maintenance operations.
- Experience with plumbing system maintenance and repair is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus but not required.
- Skilled in using hand tools, schematics, ohmmeters, and other maintenance tools effectively.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, including repair techniques for HVAC units and building interior maintenance.
- Strong communication skills in English to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly.
- Ability to perform residential painting, maintenance painting, carpentry, and general facilities upkeep tasks.
- Previous experience with Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) activities is advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to follow instructions carefully while working independently or as part of a team.
