Our Math Tutoring Center is looking for a self-motivated/starter Center Coordinator who will lead sales, marketing, and administrative tasks required to run a learning center efficiently. This is a perfect role for someone looking to advance their experience in sales, marketing, analytics, business operations, and customer service. Online and in-center training will be provided.
The Center Coordinator takes ownership of the center's effectiveness and is empowered as a leader to take appropriate action when necessary. The Center Coordinator supports operating the day-to-day functions of a center and is part of the leadership in the center, assuming responsibility for the center along with the Center Director.
Must have prior sales, customer service, and office working experience, strong proficiency in high school math, live in close proximity to the Bonita/Chula Vista area, and be able to accommodate afternoon hours Monday - Friday, and early evening working hours.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assume open/close responsibilities for the center.
- Hire, manage, and mentor a team of Math Tutors.
- Assume responsibility for maintaining student information in our learning center management system and updating student learning plans.
- Assist with sales, marketing, and customer outreach activities
- Successfully enroll new families and students into the Mathnasium program
- Assist the team with center administrative tasks
QUALIFICATIONS:
- College graduate with a degree in STEM
- 2+ Prior working experience in sales or customer service in an office setting
- Strong background in math, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication & organizational skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently
- Excellent PC, MS Office, and data entry skills
- Strong work ethic, punctual, detail-oriented, and reliable
- Must be available to work 1 PM-7 PM Monday - Friday
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28.0 – 32.0 per week
