About the Role:
As a Temp Skilled Nursing Facility Billing Specialist (Medicaid/HMO), you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our billing and revenue management processes. You will be responsible for accurately processing Medicaid and HMO claims, managing billing discrepancies, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will be essential in resolving billing issues and optimizing our reimbursement rates.
Responsibilities:
Process and submit Medicaid and HMO claims in a timely and accurate manner
Manage and resolve billing discrepancies and errors
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and billing information
Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing issues and improve revenue cycle processes
Stay up-to-date with changing Medicaid and HMO regulations and guidelines
Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to optimize billing and revenue management processes
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of experience in healthcare billing and revenue management, with a focus on Medicaid and HMO claims
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) and billing software
