Medical Assistant – Part Time (1–2 Days/Week + Fill-In Coverage)

Job Summary
Kalispell Midwives & Women’s Health is looking for a compassionate and motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing team. This position is typically 1–2 days per week with additional opportunities to fill in for team members as needed. As our clinic continues to grow, there is potential for this role to expand into additional hours.
We are seeking someone who enjoys patient-centered care, works well in a team environment, and takes pride in helping create a welcoming, supportive experience for every patient.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and assist with intake, rooming, and preparing patients for their visits
- Obtain and document vital signs, patient history updates, and visit information accurately
- Prepare exam rooms, maintain supplies, and support a clean and organized clinic environment
- Assist providers with exams and in-office procedures
- Perform clinical tasks such as injections, specimen collection, lab preparation, and phlebotomy (experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate)
- Manage patient information and documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Support patient communication, follow-up care, referrals, and coordination with the clinical team
- Assist with daily clinic flow and help wherever needed to support providers, staff, and patients
Qualifications & Skills
- Medical Assistant experience or certification preferred
- Women’s health, OB/GYN, or outpatient clinic experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a warm, professional approach with patients
- Comfortable using electronic medical record systems or willing to learn
- Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
- Reliable, flexible, and willing to help cover additional shifts when needed
- Positive attitude and ability to work well in a collaborative team environment

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
