A driver is a professional who drives patients around in an efficient, safe, and timely manner. In addition to maintaining regular cleaning services for their vehicle. The driver will drive clients daily to their destination, maintain a clean and safe vehicle, be up to date on road conditions, adjust routes as needed, report any defects or deficiencies on the vehicle, and document a transportation log daily.
Requirements are as follows:
Proven experience as a driver
A valid driver's license
Current CPR
A clean driving record
Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)
Familiarity with GPS devices
Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
Ability to lift 50 or more pounds
A polite and professional disposition
Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations
Assist clients with their meals and for bathroom breaks if needed
