ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF FINANCE: This is a highly responsible administrative position, in which the incumbent oversees all aspects of the fiscal management of the Agency and provides supervision to the fiscal department staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The development, installation and evaluation of fiscal management policies and procedures for the Authority; supervise the finance assistant; maintain the Authority’s investment register; responsible for all account receivables and payables; complete reports to regulatory agencies (utility consumption, quarterly financial, voucher management system); controls cash flow within the Authority; completes necessary tax forms; serves as a liaison with auditors/fee accountants; oversees payroll; responsible for tracking all escrow and security deposit accounts.
QUALIFICATIONS: College degree and three years of experience in a related field; five years of experience in public financial management will be considered in lieu of education; previous supervision experience; experience in public housing a plus; strong verbal and written communication skills; computer skills; a valid MA Driver’s License. Bi-lingual a plus.
