The Aftermarket Sales Associate supports the company’s aftermarket sales function by managing customer accounts, processing quotations and orders for parts and service jobs, and identifying new business opportunities within a defined regional territory. This role is integral to ensuring customer satisfaction, driving revenue growth, and supporting the overall success of the Aftermarket Sales organization.
The Aftermarket Sales Associate will serve as a key liaison between customers, operations, and the sales team—coordinating the fulfillment of aftermarket orders, responding to technical inquiries, and maintaining a strong understanding of customer equipment and service needs within the oil and gas industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Serve as the primary internal contact for customers within the assigned region, managing inquiries, quotations, and orders for aftermarket parts, components, and service jobs.
- Prepare accurate and timely quotations in accordance with customer specifications, drawings, and company pricing standards.
- Process sales orders in JDE and coordinate closely with production, procurement, logistics, and service teams to ensure on-time and accurate delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to promote repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Proactively identify and pursue new aftermarket sales opportunities, including lapsed or underdeveloped accounts, to expand regional market share.
- Collaborate with the Director of Aftermarket Sales and the broader sales team to align strategies, share market insights, and support overall business growth objectives.
- Track and manage sales activities, leads, and follow-ups using Monday.com and other CRM systems.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and updates to support planning and performance tracking.
- Partner with engineering, operations, and quality teams to resolve technical questions, order discrepancies, or warranty-related concerns.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on customer experience, process efficiency, and overall aftermarket performance.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and pricing structures.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and quoting tools.
- Ability to manage complex orders from inquiry through fulfillment with precision and accountability.
- Skilled in CRM and ERP system navigation (JDE experience preferred).
- Effective multitasking and time management to handle multiple quotes and customer requests simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with professional phone and email etiquette.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and sound judgment in fast-paced, customer-facing situations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal departments, including engineering, production, and logistics.
COMPENSATION:
Base Salary starts at $75-$80k per year plus commissions. Commissions are merit based and can be paid as frequently as monthly based on several factors.

- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 3–5 years of experience in inside sales, account management, or customer support, preferably in a manufacturing or oil and gas aftermarket environment.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment, parts, and service operations strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), JDE, and Monday.com or comparable CRM/project management systems.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to interpret equipment specifications, bills of materials, and customer documentation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and accuracy.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Work is performed primarily in an office setting with regular use of computer, phone, and standard office equipment.
- May require occasional visits to manufacturing or customer sites, including exposure to industrial environments where use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
- Must be able to sit, stand, and communicate effectively for extended periods.
- Occasional travel may be required to support regional sales activities or attend company meetings.
- For the most part, ambient temperatures with typical plant lighting and manufacturing equipment are present throughout the facility.
- Sitting, climbing, or standing as needed.
- Walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day.
- Reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting as required within limits set by SERVA.
