Job Summary
Wolf Creek Recovery Scottsdale is a newly opening Residential Behavioral Health Center that provides 24-hour care to men and women who are seeking long-term sobriety or help with mental issues such as depression, anxiety, etc. Wolf Creek Recovery is a staple of the recovery community in Scottsdale, AZ and is opening a new residential home that can provide all of the resources needed for those needing help with addiction. This large, beautiful 10-bed home provides a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for people to begin this journey to discovering the gift of sobriety. We are looking for people in the community who have experience with 12-step programs (AA,NA, etc.) and can help guide others in sobriety to achieve what they are looking for.
Training will be provided to ensure that employees have all of the necessary tools to complete their tasks.
A valid driver's license is required, as well as the ability to get your fingerprint clearance card.

Duties
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency related to the importance of resident safety and provide excellent support.
- Ensure the well-being of residents and provide a positive, supportive and structured environment by making sure rules are being followed.
- Complete admissions and discharges, which include comprehensive assessments, belongings searches, etc.
- Facilitate the growth of residents in their goal of achieving long-term sobriety.
- Document timely, accurate and appropriate information in residents' medical records.
- Assist in providing a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for residents and staff.
- Interact routinely with residents, observe behaviors and communicate significant observations to clinical and medical staff.
- May oversee or assist residents with activities of daily living.
- May obtain residents' vital signs and document in the resident record.
- Facilitate resident educational-rehabilitative groups which cover a variety of topics including social skills, coping skills, anger management, substance use prevention and independent living skills.
- Engage residents in activities and interactions designed to encourage achievement of treatment goals.
- Complete and maintain required documentation. Assist with follow-up and paperwork as required on incidents and events that may take place in the facility.
- May provide transportation for residents or coordinate transportation with an appropriate staff member.
- Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards residents always. When residents needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve issues. Recognize that resident safety is a top priority.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children or adolescents in behavioral health, special education, or related settings is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability in crisis intervention, crisis management, and behavior management techniques.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and medical documentation procedures.
- Background in addiction counseling or PTSD care is a plus.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Ability to collect accurate data, perform intake assessments, and utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) strategies effectively. Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
