Job Title: B2B Sales Executive – Home Health & Nurse Staffing
Commission-Only | 1099 Independent Contractor | Remote – Connecticut & NYC Candidates Only
Morlux Nurse Concierge is a certified NWBOC Woman Owned growing nurse practitioner-owned home health care and nurse staffing agency serving clients throughout New York and Connecticut. We are seeking a motivated and experienced B2B Sales Executive to help expand our client base by securing new staffing contracts, referral partnerships, and service agreements.
This is a commission-only, 1099 independent contractor position for someone who understands healthcare sales, staffing, home health care, or facility-based business development. The ideal candidate is confident, relationship-driven, self-directed, and comfortable speaking directly with decision-makers in healthcare facilities, home care organizations, schools, and related healthcare settings.
This role is best suited for someone who already has healthcare sales experience, strong professional connections, and the ability to turn opportunities into signed contracts.
Important Location Requirement
This position is remote; however, applicants must be physically located in Connecticut or New York City only.
Candidates outside of Connecticut or NYC will not be considered.
Local travel to healthcare facilities in Connecticut and New York may be required.
What You Will Do
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for healthcare staffing services, including RN, LPN, and CNA staffing in New York.
- Identify and pursue referral partnerships and skilled home health care opportunities in Connecticut.
- Build relationships with facility administrators, directors of nursing, HR directors, case managers, discharge planners, school districts, home care agencies, and other healthcare decision-makers.
- Prospect through cold calling, warm outreach, networking, email campaigns, and in-person or virtual introductions.
- Present Morlux Nurse Concierge’s staffing, private nursing, and home health care solutions to prospective clients.
- Assist in securing staffing agreements, service contracts, and referral partnerships.
- Write and assist with business proposals, client presentations, and service agreements.
- Maintain communication with prospects and clients to support long-term business growth.
- Track outreach, leads, follow-ups, referrals, and contract opportunities using a CRM or database.
- Report weekly on sales activity, referrals, prospects, and contract progress.
- Research local healthcare business opportunities and viable income streams.
- Follow local industry trends in healthcare staffing, home health care, private duty nursing, and facility-based care.
- Develop strategies for client growth, client retention, and referral development.
- Prioritize target accounts based on market opportunity and sales potential.
- Gain new professional contacts and add them to the company database or CRM.
- Act as a liaison between clients and company staff to help resolve concerns, provide service information, and maintain positive business relationships.
- Collaborate with our internal team, who will handle recruiting, credentialing, staffing coordination, scheduling, and operations once contracts are secured.
- Represent the company internally and externally in a professional manner.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in B2B sales, healthcare staffing, home health care, medical sales, healthcare marketing, or healthcare business development.
- Existing relationships with healthcare facility decision-makers are strongly preferred.
- Experience selling to hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, home care agencies, schools, discharge planners, or healthcare organizations is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently without daily supervision.
- Ability to develop growth strategies and execute a sales plan.
- Ability to identify business strengths, client needs, and service opportunities.
- Comfortable with commission-based compensation.
- Motivated by performance, growth, and uncapped earning potential.
- Professional, self-directed, and able to represent the company positively.
- Must be able to meet sales goals, follow up consistently, and turn opportunities into signed agreements.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent relevant healthcare sales, staffing, or business development experience may be considered.
- Prior healthcare staffing, home health care, nurse staffing, or facility sales experience is strongly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must be located in Connecticut or New York City.
- Must be comfortable working as a 1099 independent contractor.
- Must have reliable phone, computer, internet access, and transportation for local client visits when needed.
Sales Expectations
The goal for this role is to generate qualified business opportunities and help secure new clients, contracts, referral sources, and staffing accounts.
The candidate should be able to:
- Build and maintain client relationships.
- Increase the company’s client base.
- Develop strategies for client retention and referral growth.
- Identify and map client needs, decision-makers, and business opportunities.
- Research business opportunities and viable income streams.
- Follow up with prospects consistently.
- Gain contacts and add them to the company database or CRM.
- Report weekly on outreach, referrals, sales activity, contract opportunities, successes, and areas needing improvement.
- Work toward a target goal of securing at least 4 new qualified client opportunities or accounts per month.
Compensation
This is a 100% commission-only, 1099 independent contractor role.
This role offers uncapped commission-based earning potential, meaning there is no set maximum on commission income for successful contracts and paid accounts.
Commission is paid on qualified contracts secured and revenue actually collected by the company. No commission is earned unless the client agreement is approved, services are provided, invoices are paid, and payment is collected by the company.
Limited residual commission opportunities may be available for eligible active accounts, based on account profitability, continued client activity, invoices paid, and the terms of the written commission agreement.
The full commission structure will be discussed during the interview process and confirmed in writing before any work begins.
