We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Foods Coordinator to support our food operations and help ensure the efficient movement of products from suppliers to warehouse to jobsite customers.Position SummaryThe Foods Coordinator is responsible for coordinating inventory, food product management, vendor communications, order processing, order fulfillment and administrative support for food operations. This role works closely with warehouse, purchasing, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure products are received, stored, and distributed accurately and efficiently.Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily food inventory and product tracking activities.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with replenishment.
- Process purchase orders, sales orders, and product transfers.
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, carriers, and internal teams regarding product availability and delivery schedules.
- Track inbound and outbound shipments and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, pricing, and product information.
- Assist with food safety and quality documentation.
- Support compliance with food handling, storage, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare reports on inventory levels, product movement, and operational performance.
- Investigate and resolve product, shipping, or inventory issues.
- Assist with forecasting and planning activities to support business growth.
- Provide exceptional customer support related to food product orders and availability.
QualificationsRequired
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in food service, food distribution, inventory coordination, purchasing, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Food Science, or a related field.
- Experience with ERP, WMS, or inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
- Experience within wholesale food distribution, grocery, manufacturing, or fulfillment operations.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to walk warehouse and storage areas as needed.
- Valid driver's license'
- Ability to sit, stand, and work on a computer for extended periods.
