Position Summary
Blondie’s Salon & Spa is seeking a licensed and detail-oriented Nail Technician to join our service team. In this role, you will provide exceptional nail services—manicures, pedicures, gel applications, and nail enhancements—while delivering a luxurious and personalized guest experience. The ideal candidate is highly skilled, professional, and passionate about the beauty and wellness industry. Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience
Conduct personalized consultations to assess client needs and preferences

Provide high-quality manicures, pedicures, gel services, and nail enhancements

Educate clients on nail care, product usage, and at-home maintenance

Maintain detailed service notes, product recommendations, and guest preferences

Encourage repeat business through exceptional service, follow-up, and rebooking

Goal Setting & Performance Tracking
Participate in monthly one-on-one coaching sessions with salon leadership

Submit a coaching reflection form one week prior to each session

Track service and retail performance to align with personal and team goals

Continued Education & Growth
Attend paid education sessions offered by Blondie’s

Stay up-to-date on current nail trends, techniques, and product innovations

Share knowledge with teammates to contribute to ongoing salon development

Cleanliness & Sanitation
Follow all sanitation and sterilization protocols in accordance with state board regulations

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workstation

Ensure tools, implements, and common areas are consistently sanitized and well-stocked

Marketing & Business Development
Maintain an active and professional social media presence showcasing your nail work

Share relevant photos and captions a minimum of twice per week

Participate in promotional opportunities and salon-hosted events

- Earnings Structure: 40% service commission or hourly rate, whichever is higher; 10% retail commission; plus tips

Minimum Qualifications
Current Indiana Nail Technician License or Cosmetology License
