Duties
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment thoroughly to uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients for service
- Support catering and banquet events by preparing ingredients and maintaining organized workstations
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, storage areas, and dining spaces to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Handle food items safely by following proper food handling procedures and safety protocols
- Clear tables and bussing duties to facilitate smooth service flow in dining areas
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of prepared food items and uphold quality standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
- Familiarity with food handling, cleaning procedures, and basic kitchen operations
- Experience with catering or banquet settings is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with an eye for cleanliness and detail
