Big Bend Transit, Inc. is accepting applications for the position of Customer Service Rep(Leon County) . The person in this position is typically responsible for utilizing the telephone and computer for dispatching and to take service requests and provide service information for HMO/Medicaid-sponsored transportation, verifying the eligibility of persons requesting transportation and the trip purpose(s), confirming trip completions, processing complaints regarding the delivery of transportation services, preparing trip manifests for contract operators, and assisting the Transportation Manager and/or Transportation Coordinator in the preparation of periodic reports. Attention to detail and preciseness is required for the billing and invoicing duties that must be performed daily. The person in this position should be able to use excel and word and posses a familiarity with (working knowledge of) computer utilization. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Transportation Coordinator, Leon County. This full-time position primary report location is located in BBT’s Tallahassee/Leon County office.
