We are seeking a motivated and energetic Dishwasher to join our dynamic culinary team! Duties
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or by hand when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients as directed by kitchen staff.
- Support catering and banquet services by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for events.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage dish flow during busy service periods, ensuring timely turnover of clean items.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness through regular cleaning schedules for sinks, floors, and storage areas.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of basic kitchen safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency.
- Strong attention to detail when handling cleaning procedures and maintaining hygiene standards.
