The Full-Time Laundry & Housekeeping Attendant supports the daily operations of the Edgeworth Club by ensuring all linens, towels, uniforms, hotel suite accommodations, and facility spaces are cleaned, maintained, and presented to the highest standards. This role is essential to the overall member and guest experience and contributes directly to the cleanliness, organization, and smooth operation of the Club’s dining, racquets, aquatics, fitness, hotel suites, and event spaces.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Laundry Operations Wash, dry, fold, and organize all Club linens, towels, uniforms, and specialty items according to established procedures.
- Operate commercial washers, dryers, and related equipment safely and efficiently. Treat stains and handle delicate or specialty fabrics with appropriate care.
- Ensure proper chemical usage and follow all safety guidelines for detergents and cleaning agents.
- Maintain accurate separation of items by department (dining, housekeeping, racquets, aquatics, fitness, hotel suites, etc.). Inspect all laundered items for cleanliness, stains, tears, or wear; rewash or treat items as needed.
Housekeeping Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all assigned areas of the Club, including restrooms, locker rooms, hallways, offices, fitness areas, public spaces, and hotel suites. Perform daily cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and emptying trash.
- Replenish supplies including towels, toiletries, paper products, and cleaning materials.
- Ensure all member‑facing and guest‑facing areas are consistently tidy, polished, and welcoming.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects as scheduled.
Hotel Suite Cleaning & Guest Readiness
- Clean and prepare hotel suites to Club standards, including:
- Changing and laundering bedding
- Cleaning bathrooms and replenishing amenities
- Dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing all surfaces
- Ensuring all furniture, fixtures, and guest items are in proper condition
- Restock guest amenities such as toiletries, towels, robes, and water.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items immediately.
- Ensure suites are guest‑ready for arrivals, turn‑downs, and extended stays.
- Keep laundry and housekeeping storage areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Clean lint traps, filters, and machine surfaces regularly to ensure safe operation.
- Report equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, or supply shortages promptly.
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing housekeeping and laundry supplies.
Departmental Support
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Racquets, Aquatics, Fitness, and Hotel Suite operations to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and supplies.
- Support special events by preparing linens and ensuring adequate inventory. Assist with uniform distribution and organization as needed.
- Respond to supervisor requests and shift priorities based on Club needs.

Qualifications
- Prior laundry or housekeeping experience preferred; training provided.
- Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 40 pounds, including laundry bags, linen bundles, and supply boxes.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to work in warm environments due to heat from laundry equipment.
- Ability to operate commercial washers, dryers, carts, vacuums, and housekeeping tools.
- Visual acuity to inspect linens and ensure cleanliness of facilities and hotel suites.
- Ability to work around cleaning chemicals safely and follow all safety protocols.

- Salary: $18-$20 Per Hour Full Time employees will be eligible for Benefits after 90 days, Health Insurance, Vision, Dental, HSA, IRA matching 3%, Daily Meal Provided
