Meximodo Jersey City is looking for a reliable Cook/Prep to join our back-of-house team. This is one of the most important roles in the building — you keep the whole operation moving.
If you’re someone who works hard, stays organized, and likes being part of a busy restaurant, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and kitchen standards
- Work your station efficiently during service in a fast-paced environment
- Assist with food prep, stocking, and basic kitchen organization
- Pitch in with dishes, cleaning, and kitchen upkeep as needed — teamwork matters here
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
What We’re Looking For
- A reliable, punctual team player with a strong work ethic
- Someone who can stay focused and calm during busy services
- Ability to stand, lift, bend, and move throughout the shift
- Line cook experience preferred, but we’ll train the right person
Weekends and Holidays are required for this position.
