About the Role
As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will ensure the seamless operation of our distribution center by proactively maintaining equipment and infrastructure. You will play a vital role in minimizing downtime and optimizing facility performance through skilled troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance initiatives.
Responsibilities-
Execute rapid response repairs and preventative maintenance on complex facility and distribution equipment to ensure continuous production flow.

Perform precision fabrication, assembly, and welding tasks to support facility modifications and equipment upgrades.

Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues across various facility systems, including sortation and process control technology.

Manage the calibration and maintenance of critical systems such as scanners, cameras, and PLCs to maintain operational accuracy.

Oversee the testing and documentation of fire safety systems to ensure full regulatory compliance.

Coordinate with team members to facilitate building repairs, including plumbing, lighting, and structural maintenance.

Support operational efficiency by assisting with the setup and configuration of facility spaces for company activities.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with at least one year of relevant maintenance experience.

Demonstrated proficiency in welding, fabrication, and general mechanical repair.

Foundational knowledge of electrical systems and process control troubleshooting.

Ability to work safely at heights and manage tasks independently or within a team.

Basic computer literacy, including experience with email, parts ordering, and Microsoft Office applications.

Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience.

Three or more years of experience in industrial or facility maintenance.

Advanced technical certification or specialized training in mechanical systems.
