Refined Renovations Group LLC is seeking an experienced, reliable Remodeling Professional to join our growing home renovation team. We complete high-quality residential remodeling projects and need someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, communicates well, and can work efficiently on a variety of job sites.
Responsibilities
- English and Spanish Speaking preferred
- Install and repair flooring, including tile, vinyl, laminate, hardwood, and related trim work
- Perform interior and exterior painting, including prep, patching, sanding, priming, and finish work
- Assist with framing, drywall installation, drywall repair, texture, and wall preparation
- Install wall tile, floor tile, backsplashes, shower tile, grout, and caulking
- Assist with demolition, debris removal, job-site preparation, and material handling
- Complete basic carpentry tasks such as baseboards, doors, trim, cabinetry installation, and punch-list repairs
- Use common hand and power tools safely and correctly
- Follow project plans, scopes of work, directions, and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site
- Communicate progress, material needs, and job-site issues to the project manager
Qualifications
- Previous experience in residential remodeling, construction, handyman work, or general contracting
- Demonstrated skills in flooring, painting, drywall, tile installation, and basic carpentry
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a crew
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to lift and carry construction materials and work on your feet throughout the day
- Must be dependable, punctual, respectful, and professional in customers’ homes
- Must have basic hand tools; additional tools are a plus
Preferred Experience
- Bathroom or kitchen remodels
- Shower waterproofing and tile installation
- Cabinet, countertop, or appliance installation
- Trim carpentry and finish work
- Plumbing or electrical knowledge is a plus, though not required
- Ability to read measurements, use a level, and follow drawings or work orders
