III. Job Purpose
The purpose of this position is to be the Horticulture Specialist of the clubhouse grounds and turfgrass facility
IV. Reports to:
Grounds Management team
V. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities for the Horticulture Specialist is to be detail orientated, dependable, and accountable, possess a high degree of integrity and work well with others. The responsibility’s of the Horticulture Specialist include but not limited to:

Regular maintenance of all plantings and mulch beds on property as well as outside guest seating areas and walk paths around the Village Clubhouse and Lodge

Apply fertilizer, pesticides, herbicides and insecticides to all landscape areas

Watering of all plantings on property

Removal of any garbage or debris around clubhouse and surrounding area

Removal of weeds around Village Clubhouse and entrance road
Requirements:

Work outside in all weather conditions

Work on or near heavy machinery

Stand for extended periods of time

Lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a regular basis

Do repetitive tasks

Complete tasks in a timely manner
