Activity Director
Location: The Estates at Grand Prairie Assisted Living

The Estates at Grand Prairie Assisted Living is looking for an enthusiastic Activity Director to create meaningful experiences that enrich the lives of our residents. Every day is an opportunity to make someone laugh, encourage new friendships, celebrate special moments, and help our residents continue living life to the fullest.
What you'll do
- Plan and lead engaging daily activities, games, crafts, fitness classes, outings, and special events
- Develop a monthly activity calendar that offers a variety of programs for residents with different interests and abilities
- Build relationships with residents and encourage participation
- Coordinate holiday celebrations, family events, and community partnerships
- Recruit and work with volunteers, entertainers, and local organizations
- Maintain activity records and ensure programs meet state requirements
- Work closely with other departments to create a fun, welcoming community
What we're looking for
- An outgoing, positive personality
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Someone who enjoys thinking outside the box and creating memorable experiences
- Compassion for seniors and a genuine desire to improve their quality of life
- Experience in activities, recreation, senior living, healthcare, or event planning is preferred but not required
